This issue has garnered significant attention not only in the Mekong Delta region but also in many other localities recently.
The seminar served as a platform for exchanging and sharing experiences in municipal solid waste treatment from developed countries. This exchange allows provinces to consider and choose technological solutions that are suitable for their local realities.
However, there are many challenges that demand close and timely coordination among various agencies, ministries, localities, enterprises, research institutes, universities, and individuals. The aim is to thoroughly address these challenges in municipal solid waste treatment and to develop and apply the most comprehensive technological solutions that suit Vietnamese conditions.
The Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ben Tre Province expressed that through this conference, Ben Tre specifically, and Southern provinces in general, look forward to continued attention and support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and other central ministries and sectors.
